Building a team worth joining
Current openings
Where things stand right now
No publicly listed openings at the moment
We do not have advertised vacancies at present, and we would rather say that plainly than keep an open listing that leads nowhere.
If you would like to be considered when a role does open, you are welcome to send a CV and a short note to our company email. We read what arrives, but we cannot promise a reply to every message, and sending one is not an application for a specific position.
Please send only what is necessary.
A CV and a short covering note is enough. Please do not send citizenship numbers, passport copies, bank details, photographs, date of birth, marital status or medical information — we do not need them at this stage and would rather not hold them. We keep speculative applications only while they are plausibly relevant, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time by emailing ascendiatechnologiesnepal35@gmail.com.
How we intend to work
The workplace we are building
Learning is part of the job
We expect people to spend working time learning. Not knowing something is normal; pretending to know it is the problem.
Written communication matters
Decisions, reasoning and handovers are written down. It is slower in the moment and considerably faster over a project.
Work reviewed, not policed
Code review is for shared understanding and better outcomes, not for assigning blame. Everyone's work is reviewed, including senior work.
Honest estimates
We would rather hear a realistic estimate with its assumptions than an optimistic one that quietly becomes overtime.
Sustainable delivery
Occasional pressure is part of client work. Routine late nights are a planning failure, and we treat them as one.
Room to grow
As an early-stage company, responsibility is available to people ready to take it, and so is the support to do it well.
Areas of future interest
Where we expect to grow
Software engineering
Web and backend engineers who care about readable code, sensible architecture and the person who maintains the system next.
Product and interface design
Designers who work from user tasks and constraints rather than from trends, and who think about accessibility from the first sketch.
Quality assurance
Testers who can think adversarially about a feature, write clear reproduction steps and build useful automation.
Cloud and infrastructure
Engineers interested in deployment automation, monitoring, cost awareness and infrastructure defined as code.
Security
People drawn to secure design, access control and the unglamorous fundamentals that prevent most real incidents.
Data and analytics
Engineers and analysts who enjoy modelling messy data honestly and building reporting that people actually trust.
Project delivery
Coordinators who keep scope, communication and documentation in order, and who raise problems early rather than late.
Interested in working with us later?
Send a CV and a short note about the kind of work you want to do. We will keep it on file while it is relevant, though we cannot guarantee a reply or a future role.
